Consultation

The first step in our estate sale process is a consultation. One of our Geaux To Girls will meet our client on location to assess the job and gage expectations. During this meeting we will take notes and photographs of items you would like to sell. If the client still need assistance going through the contents, we can help with the decision making and packing process.

 

 

Research

We understand the importance in receiving a return on an investment, but we also want to make sure our clients' items are sold in a timely manner. Our team can help make decisions on how to price valuable items by researching their current selling price locally and online. 

 

 

Set Up

During this step we will begin to look through the items and organize them like a store. We often bring in our own supply of tables and shelving units to neatly display our client's belongings. When we're almost finished we will price items and hang signage. Each job is just as different as each of our clients. 

 

 

Promotion

From the start we will begin advertising our client's estate sale locally, online and through social media. This includes our customer email list. Our post often involve photographing and highlighting select items for sale. We are always open to new advertising ideas and mediums at the client's expense. 

 

 

Sale Day

Estate sales can be quite hectic, especially large ones, so on the day of the sale we often bring in additional trained helpers to assist us and shoppers through our checkout process. 

 

 

Post Sale

After the sale we can provide our clients with an itemized list of large items sold and sale totals. Often there are still items left over from the sale and decisions to be made. Geaux To Girls can assist in donating or removing the remainder of the items from the home.
